This notice explains the information Dogward may receive when you use the website at dogwardguide.com, including the contact form, analytics, and browser-based planning tools. It describes the current site, which is an English-first educational resource.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, Dogward receives the name, email address, topic, and message that you choose to submit. We use that information to respond to your message, review corrections, investigate broken source links, and improve the site.
The form sends your name, email address, topic, and message to Dogward’s own mail server, which delivers them to the Dogward inbox. No third-party form service processes the submission. Dogward does not keep a separate database of contact messages, we use your details only to respond, and we do not sell contact information.
Please do not include passwords, financial information, sensitive personal information, or urgent medical details about a person or animal in a message. Dogward cannot provide emergency, veterinary, or individualized medical advice.
Planning information stays in your browser
The new-dog checklist, Decision Kit tools (including the puppy schedule builder), and breed shortlist use browser storage so they can remember progress or selections on the same device. My Dogward Plan reads those existing records to create a consolidated summary; it does not create an account or upload the records. Notes, entered costs, checked items, and saved breed names are not sent to Dogward through those tools. Free-text training and veterinary notes are not displayed in the consolidated summary. Clearing data through My Dogward Plan or through your browser settings removes the saved information from that browser.
Hosting and technical information
Dogward is hosted as static files on Bluehost. Like most websites, the hosting environment may process basic technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and time of access in connection with delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Bluehost’s handling of hosting and account information is governed by its own policies, including its privacy notice.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Dogward uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used and to improve its content and performance. Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, interactions, referring pages, approximate location, and device or browser details. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide this service.
Dogward does not require an account or use this analytics data to build advertising profiles or serve personalized ads.
You can limit analytics collection through your browser's cookie and privacy controls, an appropriate content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information about how Google handles data.
The site also uses browser storage for the planning tools and breed shortlist described above.
Your choices and questions
You can choose not to submit the contact form and can clear individual tool records within each tool, clear all seven planning records from My Dogward Plan, or use your browser settings. If you have a question about a message you sent, want to report a privacy concern, or want to request a correction to information you provided, use the contact page.
Updates to this notice
Dogward may update this notice when the site’s data practices, tools, or service providers change. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the current version was published.
